Numatic International Ltd. is a British manufacturer, mainly manufacturing domestic, commercial and industrial cleaning and maintenance equipment for worldwide distribution. It is one of the leading manufacturers of vacuum cleaners in the UK, and is renowned for its popular and iconic "Henry" household dusters, and related models, which are tubular designs that have human names and a 'smiling face' look.
The company was founded in 1968 - and still owned by itself - by Chris Duncan, who created a compact form for cleaners. The concept of a smiling face, "Henry" name and color for a vacuum cleaner designed by Michael Walsh FCSD. The company has manufacturing facilities located in Chard, Somerset in southwest England, and wholly-owned distributors in France, Germany, the Netherlands and South Africa. The company employs over 885 people, and generates 4,500 units per day, more than 40% of which are for export.

Henry
One of Numatic's most popular products is a vacuum cleaner called Henry. This is easily distinguished by a large smiley face in front of the tube (there is also a clip-on 3D face that has eyes and mouth, and a vacuum hose to form its nose in some newer models). A new parking bracket was added in September 2012. Since the introduction of Henry in 1981, more than 7 million have been produced worldwide. Henry has merchandise based on him like a doll and a shirt. There is also a Henry desktop cleaner for cleaning tables and tables, which are not manufactured/sold by Numatic.

Since Henry's original release in 1981, the whole family of vacuum cleaners has been introduced in various sizes and colors and with different specifications and uses (including wet and dry models and wet/dry cleaners and multi-function carpet cleaners). All original series are based on English names. The current 2017 range is:
