" You Make a Whole Smile " is a single by New Zealand singer/songwriter, Hammond Gamble, as part of the Red Nose Band, called "Hammond Gamble & The Red Nose Gang".

The song is the theme song for television commercials for Red Nose Day. This music video features many New Zealanders famous for lipsynching for songs in black and white.

This local song has the distinction of being the only song on the New Zealand charts ever reaching number one twice in the years apart. "You Make Whole World Smile" first reached number one in August 1992 and exactly one year later it was number one after it came out of the chart completely. It is also the only New Zealand song to reach number one in two years. The song is also famous for tapping the song "Can not Help Falling in Love" by UB40 from the number 1 spot held for 10 weeks, UB40 song back to number 1 next week.
