The Sponge Room is an Australian television film aired in 1964 on ABC. Produced in Melbourne, it aired in a 50-minute time slot. The adaptation of the stage play abroad, it is a comedy. Although shown in interstate parts, it is possible that it is not shown in Sydney because a theater presents a drama version. The drama was written by Willis Hall and Keith Waterhouse.
It is not known whether a copy of a television film still exists, given the removal of the times.
