Reception

The series is well received, placing regularly on ten weekly Japanese anime shows aired.

Brad Stephenson of About.com described the English adaptation as "the comeback when the anime is fun and the priority of everyone involved is to create a highly accessible series that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible." He likes animations for physical attacks, energetic Blush singing, and that "English speaking youngsters can have the same experience as the Japanese audience did when they first saw it." He also found the Japanese reference not to be a deterrent and would encourage the children to see Japanese culture as with Sailor Moon .

Ella Anders of BSC Kids , who has also reviewed many recent miracle girl adaptations such as LoliRock and Ladybug Magic, consider this series better rather than he expects, but dislikes the number of localizations provided by Saban's dub, writing that "With such interconnected world now the removal of cultural aspects is sad. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate and focus on Japanese culture."
