The figma ( ???? ) series is a line of Japanese action images produced by Max Factory and distributed by Good Smile Company. This product series is developed by Max Factory, MAX Watanabe, and Masaki Apsy CEOs, and focuses on making highly articulate hand figures focusing on popular anime characters. Each figma is sold with various accessories such as interchangeable face, hand and other optional parts. Sometimes the figma figures are based on other subjects such as characters from Japanese voice synthesizer software, Vocaloid, to popular Nintendo game series such as The Legend of Zelda and Metroid series . There are also some figma figures based on real people, like Michael Jackson's figma from his music video "Thriller".

History
The first figma is a special edition Haruhi Suzumiya based and bundled with PS2 games, Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi . Released on January 31, 2008 with product code SP001. Then in 2008, the first mass production figure, Yuki Nagato from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series was released.
The figma series has now surpassed its 300th release. To commemorate the release of the 200th Figma, the GSC announced on their website, version 2.0 of the popular vocaloid, Hatsune Miku

The figma series is a series of numbers made from ABS and PVC. Each image includes a special stand that is used to hold it and make various poses. The image height is about 13 cm, but varies depending on the height of the base character. The price also varies, but most of the figma is between 3000 and 6000 Japanese yen. Each figma is usually equipped with a number of different expressions and optional extras that can be changed multiple times. - Unique customization for each character : Each character is designed separately and is proportional to the original design.
- Hand sizes : the figma is hand-sized for ease of positioning and display.
- The use of unique figma connections : Figures are very precise and allow great torque, allowing collectors to easily create the pose they want.

There are a number of products and related figma product lines, as described below.
Siri figma
The main figma series has been divided into three different variants:
- The normal edition of Figmas with a three-digit product code, such as 001
- Special edition figma with three-digit product code preceded by SP, such as SP001. These figma are usually combined with a video game, manga, or DVD.
- Limited edition figma with a three-digit product code beginning with EX, such as EX001. These figma are sold at events like the Wonder Festival, a semi-annual event hosted by Good Smile Company. Sometimes they are also released via mail-order or through online orders, but never through standard store sales. The most recent list of all the figma products can be found on the figma website and the Good Smile Company website.
di: stage
The: stage is a display unit that is specifically developed to display figma figures in a more fun way. The base unit is a 10 cm x 10 cm stage with multiple joints to create a different landscape to display figma figures, this basic unit can also be expanded with additional purchases.

The ex: ride series is a set of vehicles that can be driven by fig figures, including bicycles, motorcycles, water bikes, and more. Each set of vehicles is numbered starting with 'up', for example the first release is 'ride.001'. Special series ex: up figures coming from special series are also created, precisely preceded by 'SPride.' Special vehicles come from series like Fate/Zero , GANTZ and Fireball Charming .

The figma vehicle line is a set mostly dedicated to the anime vehicle Girls und Panzer , which focuses on Ausf Panzer IV . Configuration D (Type D) , World War II era battle tanks driven by the main players of the series. The tank is not officially scaled, but its size is roughly from the 1:12 tank kit model. It's been built before, with some small parts (like tools and extra sets) that need to be attached to the kit. The figma version of the crew can be installed inside without modification to the number itself. The first vehicle, Panzer IV Ausf. The version of "Finals" , was released in October 2015, at a price of Ã, Â ¥ 14,800 (before the Tax) . The second vehicle, which is a variant of the first model, Panzer IV Ausf. H Spec , will be released exclusively for the 2016 Wonder Festival .
Reception
Rob Bricken, reviewing Figma Lelouch for the Anime News Network, described it as "a perfect marriage with accuracy and pose ability." He then described the common figma line as "[one] of the anime's most productive (and affordable) anime anime line". In 2008, three figmas were among the top ten 'toy and hobby' items sold in Amazon Japan. [1]
