Anxiety is the second album by the post-grunge Smile Empty Soul music group. The album is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2005 through Lava Records, but after much encouragement due to heavy protests from religious groups (mainly related to the proposed lead single "Holes") the label deleted the album and Smile Empty Soul went. Smile Empty Soul then decided to make a number of "illegal burn copies" [Barcode: 837101108133] and sold it on show to give fans an album since Lava did not release it. The band even encourages fans to go online and download the album illegally if they can not attend the event to buy a copy.
Everything changed in 2008, as the band finally could officially release Anxiety through their own label, MRAfia Records.
On March 9, 2010, Anxiety was re-released under Group Label F.O.F titled " More Anxiety ". In addition to the Anxiety and bonus tracks of the MRAfia Version, it also includes a redesigned album cover, DVD bonus and "Hidden Path" (This War [Remix 2009]). There is also another variation of More Anxiety which contains an "Aneurysm" bonus track in addition to previous More Anxiety released by F.O.F. Label Group. This variant is available for free download for those donated to Smile Empty Soul Feeds the Hunger sponsored by Groupees .
The song "Do not Need You" peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
